When did we stop being a kid and doing the things that we WANT to do and now we only do the things that we HAVE TO DO?

Perhaps it is just me and my chapter in life… middle-aged…but I still have the 25-year-old mentality some days…or maybe 32…

Sometimes I think, like the “Toys R Us” commercial used to praise…I don’t wanna grow up! I’m a Toys R Us Kid! But all the kiddos are growing up too fast and too “informed”.

I am glad that I grew up in an “un-informed” era! The only way we were informed was through pure gossip! OR just talking to our friends.

It is still “sorta” the same, but as great as technology is, it definitely takes away from the front porch/ back porch sitting, really talking to your friends and neighbors, that is REALLY missing in this world.

I say this because I need the reminder…Get out, see friends, family, fireflies… Life is too short, stop letting it pass you by!
