Boxes… Why as women do we try to fit into some “perfect” box? Society, social media, etc. try to tell us how to be.

But we are all unique. We aren’t boxes…boxes are boring. We come in so many beautiful shapes, sizes, colors. We are ALL beautiful in our own unique ways. Being beautiful on the outside doesn’t always make you a beautiful person.

What makes us beautiful is what is inside our hearts, our souls and our heads. I know some of the most beautiful people in the world and believe it or not, they are not models, famous nor are they a size zero. The women that I know are smart, loving, giving, funny, and amazing women.

I know that I personally have fought most of my life to “fit” into the proverbial “box”, but what I now realize in my 25×2+ years, I don’t want to fit into a box. I want to be exactly who I am. The perfectly, imperfect me.

I was never one to color inside the box, so WHY do I want to fit into one? Well, I don’t. It is past time to kick that box to the curb and be who we are, or better yet, who we want to be. Not just for others, mind you, BUT for ourselves!

This is the message that we should pass onto the next amazing generations of women.

Be PROUD of who you are! Own your uniqueness! Go BE WHO YOU want to be! Don’t wait, own it NOW.

Get up every day and look in the mirror and tell yourself, HOW AMAZING AND GORGEOUS THAT YOU ARE! Because there is only one beautiful, amazing you!
